The director of ‘Aki Na Ukwa’ and the Pastor’s Blood”, Amayo Uzo Philips has advised producers and directors who are frequently accused of sexually harassing the female actors to always arm themselves with concrete evidence in order to put the record straight.
Amayo gave the advice on the WhatsApp group called Film4Life, on Sunday.
He urged the producers and directors to always record the actresses whenever they are offering their bodies in exchange for movie roles so that the story would no longer be one-sided.
Amayo, however, recalled how he was sexually harassed by daring ladies who wanted to become actors.
He wrote; “Male victims of sexual harassment should also resort to get evidence of such oppression from the ladies who come to offer sex or money for roles. Recorded evidence, so that the matter is not one sided.”
” I have been sexually harassed by daring ladies who want to become actors. You have to be strong charactered to escape those dangerous advances.”
