Comic actor, Nkem Owoh has described the death of Dan Foster as a painful one, adding ” It difficult to contain this ugly news.”
Dan Foster, a popular broadcaster, and host of The Morning Show on Classic FM, Lagos, died on Wednesday after he tested positive to coronavirus pandemic.
His wife confirmed the sad news of his death.
In a tweet, Nkem Owoh said he’s pained hearing the sad news.
“I am in deep pains hearing that the BIG DAWG, Dan Foster, onye oka okwu puru iche na Radio has gone to rest.”
“This is a very painful one, difficult to contain this ugly news. Odogwu nna a!! May God grant family and friends the fortitude to bear this loss. Adieu Big Dawg!!, the actor tweeted.
He worked with numerous radio stations including Cathy Hughes Radio One, Mix 106.5 both in America, and Virgin Island-based WTBN before moving to Nigeria in 2000 where he joined Cool FM, quickly becoming popular with Nigerian listeners.
In September 2009, Foster left Cool FM for Inspiration FM but left in 2014 to join City FM.
In May 2016, he left City FM 105.1 for Classic FM 97.3 radio station where he worked before he passed on.
