Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has cried out over a threat against her for declaring her political stance in the wake of the EndSARS protest.

The Nation reported that Iyabo Ojo stated that she will never support the two major political parties in Nigeria, the PDP, and the APC.

The actress had said:

“I Alice Iyabo Ojo will never support or campaign for any APC or PDP member again in my life even if you are my family or friends. We need a new Nigeria. We need to stop recycling.”

Taking to social media today, Iyabo Ojo revealed that the announcement which she made weeks ago has exposed her to a threat

She shared:

“So this morning I wake up to a message from a friend in the media, he said someone sent this to him,” she wrote.

The message read:

“Now, if you are close to Iyabo Ojo, advise her to calm down. Smart celebrities who have brains don’t take on governments ooo. I was somewhere and her name was mentioned.”

She asked:

“Are we now threatened to silence?”
