Palpable apprehension has gripped the people as 13 Imo State Lawmakers test positive for Coronavirus pandemic.

This comes as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announces new cases in the State on Monday, June 22, 2020.
It would be recalled that the State House of Assembly had been shut down for two weeks on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, following the Coronavirus positive result of one of the State Lawmakers.
The Chairman of the State Task Force on COVID-19, Mr Maurice Iwu, disclosed that the Assembly had been shut down because of the test result to enable the team fumigate the whole assembly; adding that samples of the other 26 Legislators and their aides have been taken for testing.
The Taskforce Chairman also announced the death of a woman, who died of the virus shortly after being delivered of a set of twins at a hospital in Owerri.
