President Buhari Meets Governors, Others Over Rising Food Prices

The President , Major General Muhmmadu Buhari (retd . ), is in a meeting with some critical stakeholders over the rising price of food in the country .

The stakeholders , including six state governors , are members of the National Food Security Council.

The meeting is holding inside the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa , Abuja .

Those attending the meeting include the Central Bank Governor , Godwin Emefiele ; Secretary to the Government of the Federation , Boss Mustapha ; National Security Adviser , Major General Babagana Monguno (retd . ); and some ministers among others .

Governors attending the meeting are Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State , who is also the Vice -Chairman of the council ; Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State ; Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa ; Simon Lalong of Plateau ; Darius Ishaku of Taraba ; and Dave Umahi of Ebonyi .
